Peacebook Press (The Peacebook Team) sells short PDF books. We collect as little as we can. This page says what happens to your information.

This website

The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It has no advertising pixels. Our server may keep standard logs, such as the page requested, the time and your IP address. We use them to keep the site working and safe.

We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., servers in the US) to count visits and taps on the Buy buttons. It is set up without cookies and without session recordings, and it respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. It receives the page address (including any campaign tag from an ad link), your browser and device type, your approximate location worked out from your IP address, and the time. We do not use it to identify you or to show you ads. We send it your quiz answers only if you tap “Share my answers” at the end of the quiz.

The quiz

Your quiz answers stay in your browser. We do not receive them unless you choose to share them. At the end of the quiz there is an optional button, “Share my answers”. If you tap it, we receive your five answers and your result, with no name or email. We use them to improve the books. If you do not tap it, nothing is sent. The quiz does not ask for your email today.

If we add an optional email box, it will say what you are signing up for, you can leave it empty, and every email we send will have a way to unsubscribe. We will update this page first. We will not sell your email or share it for other companies to market to you.

Buying a book

Checkout runs on Selar, which is a separate company. When you press a buy button you leave this site. Selar collects your name, email and payment details. We do not see your card or bank details. Selar’s own privacy policy applies to that information.

When you email us

If you write to peacebook@gmail.com, we read your message and keep it so we can help you. We do not sell your email or share it for marketing.

Who this site is for

Our books are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it. Email peacebook@gmail.com. We cannot delete records that Selar keeps. Ask Selar for those.

If you live in the EU, the UK or California, you may also have the right to ask us to correct your information, to give you a copy, or to stop using it, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will reply.
